Earthmoves Ltd. is a geological consultancy company directed by Ian Davison which specialises in frontier oil exploration, and salt tectonics. We take pride in our ability to bridge the gap between the latest academic research and the needs of the oil industry. Over one hundred oil and mining company clients have used our services, or purchased our reports.

Our best known product is a multi-client study of the Geology and Hydrocarbon Potential of Brazilian Sedimentary Basins, which sold to seventy clients. Our most recent studies are a digital map suite and hydrocarbon potential reports on the South and Central Atlantic margin.

We give regular salt tectonics training courses on a multi-client or single company basis.

We also specialise in structural interpretation of salt basins, and evaluation of producing fields around salt diapirs.
