Earthmoves 1st Brazil Licensing Round Evaluation Pack
Earthmoves has made a preliminary evaluation of all 27 blocks on
offer in the 1st Brazilian licensing round announced by the ANP
in 1998 using information in the public domain. We have produced
a series of ten full-colour play maps at A3 scale covering all the
offered blocks.
The maps summarise the following features,
in varying amounts of detail:
• salt structures and shale anticlines
• reservoir distribution and thickness
• source rock maturity and TOC levels
• faults and adjacent basement structure
• surface outcrops
• volcanic highs and lava isopachs
• depth to top evaporites
• turbidite feeder channel positions
• undrilled seismic amplitude anomalies
• ANP Block outlines and bathymetry
• published well locations and seismic sections
Each block has been evaluated for source, maturity,
structure, and reservoir potential with a half-page text summary.
Exploration leads are identified and there is an assessment of
the hydrocarbon potential. Seismic lines and cross sections,
which have
been acquired recently, and are not in the Earthmoves report,
are included with this package.
We are offering this package
only to companies that have already
purchased the Earthmoves report on the "Geology and Hydrocarbon
Potential of Brazilian Sedimentary Basins".
